Blackout

Another aberration; another child taken
A rush to know the grip of death
Permission granted or denied
And before you could grow, you're dead

It’s the in-game now
Stop your breathing till your blue
And hope for the best
Perhaps you'll be better than the rest
Maybe you’ll come back, who knows?

I tell you, it lives in the mind of the unsuspecting
Inciting, inviting, and urging, to act upon a whim
It infiltrates as a passing thought or an idea
Turning it into a great pastime

It feeds on the innocence of the child
But oh, the mind of a child
How interrupted it seems at times
Fearless to fear

When death knocks on your door
Shall you open it and let it in?
Don’t challenge death; it will be your partner in the end
Live your life for now and keep that noose off your neck

It is not child’s game; it’s a devil’s game
It is death’s game and you’ll die
Silly children, don’t tempt faith!
Why would you want to stop breathing?

This is not a game
Death lurks around the corner of your mind
Don’t play such deadly games
Or you’ll fall fast asleep, never to wake again!

nursery rhymes aye?

I see this so much and I am just speechless(OK I'm not). Children think that things are so bad. I wonder where the parents are? Just talk to your children. Ask them about themselves and listen to what they say! They need sounding boards to reflect their thoughts on and they will tell you what is going on in their worlds! Most children would love to get the attention from their parents, but when that is not available they must take what is offered. That could be and is scary. We wonder where they get their ideas. How about putting some good ones in first! Sorry for the dissertation, I like your ideas here, Anthony
