This weeks column is dedicated to Paula T., who's encouraging comments gave me the drive to sit down and start posting again. Thanks for being such a loyal reader, and I'll try not to miss any weeks again!
Theme Despite it's late arrival, as promised, this is the Jr's version of the last segment. These two Jr. writers have not been here long, but have made a permanent, lasting impression, not only with the quality of their works, but the shine of their character.
This work is unique in the way it's written, which is what called to me to begin with. To me, Euna has proven with this peice to be a modern day Stein or Elliot, trapped in the body of a little genius. Not only have her works proven to be talented and amazingly well written, but this one has an unmistakeable style that is unique to her alone. (Age Rating: 7-127)
The universal desire to be young again. Amanda has a longing and an insight with her writing, and especially with this work, that makes me smile with nostalgia. What wouldn't most of us give to return back to youth, when no matter how bad things were, we still held the innocence of optimism, and the undeniable escape of an endless imagination. (Age Rating: 1-127)
Jr. members This time, we have three, just because I have never encountered such an amazing flow of works as this!
A work from an author so young that's dipped in a wisdom far beyond her days. A sorrowful dissertation of how it feels to move away from the protective comfort of your parents and out onto your own. Something that I relate to so much right now, and that amazes me coming from someone so young. (Age Rating: 4-127)
A work for regular readers and Sailor Moon fans alike. A story of lost love, a fallen angel, the greed of man, and the hope of a young girl, this fantastical story like poem will not just draw you in, but make you feel the sorrow of the lead character as well. A definite must read. (Age Rating: 10-127)
This is the type of work that I would give my left arm to be able to replicate. They say that works that last forever are not just the ones that follow proper form and frame, but that are done with a clear knowledge and passion on the topic, which is what Amanda has managed to do. With a flawless rhyme scheme, a longing tone, and a cadence that rivals that of the great poets of our time, Amanda has managed to write a masterpeice which far exceeds even many of the adult works I've ever read. (Age Rating: 7-127)
This left tears in my eyes and a touch of fear in my heart. As a woman lies dying of a cancer far too common in women (and I'm sure almost all of us know someone inflicted with it), he tells of how, instead of a soul fading into darkness, he sees her passage as not an ending of life, but instead, The Birth of an Angel. (Age Rating: 10-127)
A brand new author to the PnP neighborhood, Angela Vetter has already managed to capture my heart with this adorable little poem. An observation of storms and the the theory of lightening being angels bowling, this short read will leave you with a smile on your face and hoping she writes more soon. Welcome to the neighborhood, Angela!(Age Rating: 4-127)
A beautiful love poem filled with adoration and hope for the future. I think the part that really got me on this work was the note at the bottom, which states that this a "thank you that I could not say aloud." This is something that will be endearing to any soul who has loved, and a hope to those still searching. (Age Rating: 10-127)
Originally Debuting August of 2003, Who I Am Inside is a startling break from the normal angst that follows teenage existence, showing a confidence and a beauty of a growing young woman, and a self image that I only wish more had of themselves. This is, without a doubt, another one of the Choices Of The Week favorites! (Age Rating: 10-127)

Wow, I - I can't believe that I actually made it.
I mean, I was so happy to see the dancing GIR.
Wow, I'm thrilled beyond words!
And you wrote a bit about me in the beginning!
Thank you so much!
