Life is running away with me...

I've put up a new poem, yay, go me. School is a bear and I'm trying very hard to stay afloat, though it is very hard. It's Saturday, and I'm trying to go back to sleep (yes, my week was THAT long). But when I get around to it, Strange Dreams chapter 3 will be put up, then I'm going to slap the whole thing together into a book. (I have a friend who is not a member of the site who daily bugs me about it, lol) and since I don't have to study today (yay Labor Day!) I'm not gonna. So there.

I've learned this week (man, I should make that a column somewhere!) that sometimes it is better not to be a straight A student, at least if you're looking for some sort of praise from your family. "Oh look, another 100." It's like they don't expect anything else, so it's not awesome. Kinda kills the motivation, you know? I just keep telling myself that I'm not doing it for anyone except for me, but we all know that can't be true... otherwise I wouldn't be taking classes to become a Medical Assistant. I'm going to be selfish about my grades when I'm learning to care of ill and injured people? Uh, no, I don't think so.

And on a completely unrelated note, I LOVE CSI: Las Vegas. Thanks for listening to me complain.

*nods* Yeah, being a straight A student kills life. You get a 100%... whoop-de-doo... And once you get all A's, everybody expects you to do it again and again and again. >.< I hate A's!

I LOVE CSI: ANY CITY IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!!

*It feels good to complain, doesn't it? (=^-^=)

They may look like it doesn't mean anything, but that is not what they think about it! You are a very smart woman and you know that they really are jealous of your intelligence and good looks! Anthony
