To Be Captivated by Your Love

What am I to learn from this man?
What am I to teach him?
What am I to write about
that will go beyond all reason?

To be captivated by your love
Some how you have pierced through to my world

Do you believe in love at first sight?
That feeling deep inside that you're trying to fight

Wasn't it you,
not long ago
that promised to love me,
and told me so?

You said you couldn't watch me walk away
But then when I did
You couldn't say stay

You just let me walk away
with tears running down my face
Bag on my back, and that little suit case

Adam father of man
Please sir, tell the tale again
Who created us?
Tell me how it all began

First Adam laid their sleeping
from his rib, Eve's heart started beating
Man and woman were united
lost their faith and they divided

Life was good to this perfect union
but that thing, needed persuin'

I didn't know what to do but return to your side
Then undaware of what happend you started to rot
It left a sore it wasn't a dot
Now your infected a contaminated bone.
I guess I should have just left you alone

you did it too
But what you did was worse
You did it only because
he forbid it to you

Then I looked at you and it made me sick
Why did you have to be a dick
In you I saw my sin
I had to leave you then

We heard him coming
we were naked and hid
but it was too late
he knew what we did

I hope you are happy because now you are exiled
Get out now before you have it defiled

It's not my fault
you began to scream
you gave me this girl in my sleep as I dream!

Wait, I was tricked
that serpent's to blame
Ignorance I claim
ask me again
I'll tell you the same

The snake just stood there
with a smile on his face
He laughed and said
yeah, so much for that human race

Then the serpent turned ugly
lost his legs
and now, he crawls on his belly

With my little sharp knife
I've doomed human life
My little deception
made it hard for deception

Because of my sin we pay all the months of our lives
Yeah, even if we are good loving wives

There is no such thing as forgive and forget
Or did you forget how this story went?

Oh, and the man he paid too
He didn't know what to do
now he had to work for his food
Work all day until his hands bleed

Because of this one little sin
Man are always WHAT always, always, UGH!!!!!

What is the moral of this little life lessen
I means something different to each one I'm guessin'

But please sir, before you go
I have to know
Were we doomed right from the start?
Why were we made from his rib and not from his heart?

Gina,

This was indeed, very cleverly rhymed:

Best for me was:
Life was good to this perfect union
but that thing, needed persuin'

Then I looked at you and it made me sick
Why did you have to be a dick

I hope you are happy because now you are exiled
Get out now before you have it defiled

What is the moral of this little life lessen
I means something different to each one I'm guessin'

But please sir, before you go
I have to know
Were we doomed right from the start?
Why were we made from his rib and not from his heart?

Magnificent close!
This is a winner all the way.

Thanks for sharing.

God caused a deep sleep to come upon Adam, and from out of his longing, he brought woman. Side meaning in the Hebrew [To curve, a door, deep thought] In the beginning He made the Adam Race, made He them both male and female. Adam [To be red in the face, rudy, God's blood]
Eve was symbolic of the church system. [Just my opinion.] Your poetry has much meaning and insight, and yes We are daughters of The Living God!
May He continue to bless us,
Mrs. Tigran Israelyan.

Love is coming unexpectedly.
And poetry can fix love.
We must together pass this part of our road,
With Holy burst we are creating every word;
Again us leading angel – muses #999 division:
Let’s blessed every of us, let’s blessed our holy vision.

well written oh the art of lost love and what we go through

Very interesting! Tells the story of Adam and Eve in a very unique way. It's a lesson for life, I guess.
Fix the spelling errors and this will be really cool. Like the others have indicated, this is has a unique writing style, but I like it.

I like it, -hands her a cookie-. I love the imagry, I love the story and I love the tone. So I lied, I love it. Good job.
