Lying here
On the floor
Is the only place that feels right
I could lose it all
And say goodbye
But I don't wanna lose you tonight
These days everything seems wrong
And nothing hardly goes my way

I just want your arms around me
It's the only place I feel safe
Maybe if we lay her long enough
The world will just go away

I can sell my stuff - you can quit your job
Just so we can stay
Close together, this way forever
In this sacred place

Breathing your scent is the only thing
That comforts me
Your face is the only thing I wanna see
Please promise to stay with me

I just want your arms around me
It's the only place I feel safe
Maybe if we lay here long enough
The world will just go away

how long can the world stay gone, how safe can you really be, just because your head is burried in the sand and you can't see them doesn't mean they can't see you. The world is watching you hold your lover in your arms, do you care? do you still feel safe, good, you should, as long as you know they are out there and you are in here then they can't hurt you but never forget my friend, never forget. I love this poem, I like your style, and the flow, good job. Thank you
