Oh, I like it! Yeah anime! I like Sailor Moon, Naruto, Pretear, Escaflowne(I think I spelled that wrong...), and Negima(yeah Negi!). Oh, and Tokyo Mew Mew, too. Great poem!

Greetings Alma! It has been a long time since I have read or commented on anything of yours. This work brought back memories of the time I saw my first anime on Cartoon Network's Toonami afternoon lineup. I was 12 or so when Gundam Wing and Sailor Moon came on back-to-back for an hour of afternoon escape from the real world... but as I grew older they were ousted by DBZ! Since that time, I still like those two shows the best, but I also collect Naruto manga and watch the show on occasion.
Since I showed up late (once again), my predecessors stole any real criticism I could offer. As it stands, this work is pretty good as far as mechanics go, except for another sentence. It reads "You can tell if its good, is if its what it should." It should read "You can tell if it's good..." What exactly does the second part mean? This is perhaps the biggest mistake I could find that has not already been pointed out.
Aside from that, you have done a good job on a poem about anime. It brought back memories of a simpler time when it was good and the American market was not saturated with mediocre and wannabe anime... I will rant about that in a future work. Good job and keep up the good work!

There is one problem that I see with this poem. The line 'There are some great anime out that (should be there) that you just have to see.'
As for the first non-humour line, it should have ended with be. It does make sense, but it would make more sense with be.
Good job though.
