Writer's Purgatory
by David Pekrul
copyright 09-13-2005

Age Rating: 10 to 127

I’m living in Writer’s Purgatory,
Having these thoughts and telling these stories,
Writing some things of which I am sorry,
Living in Writer’s Purgatory.

I’m living in Writer’s Purgatory,
Sometimes my writing seems kind of boring,
Sitting here patiently waiting for Glory,
Living in Writer’s Purgatory.

I’m living in Writer’s Purgatory,
Trying to make some sense of a story,
Writing down words from a small inventory,
Living in Writer’s Purgatory.

I’m living in Writer’s Purgatory,
Hoping that someone will read all my stories,
Not wanting to make it obligatory,
Living in Writer’s Purgatory.

Sometimes I live in a readers Hell.
For some don't write half this well.
At first its hard for me to tell.
Sometimes I live in a readers hell!

Sometimes I find that life is swell.
Flowers so pretty and such sweet smell.
Fun filled story's and in love they fell.
Sometimes I find that life is swell.

Sometimes I feel goofy as well!
I did like this hope you can tell.
Now I'm done so I'll say Farewell,
And read some more for a little spell!

Anthony
