Think Positive!
by Jack Curson (Age: 32)

Understand Me!
I will search tried and true for the person you are.
Don’t make me dig, this is not a game!
This fronted wall of portrayed brick can be demolished.
Do you wish to connect with me?
Can you imagine a day when we live out of our heads?
Will we push with all our hearts, bearing down relationships with our souls?
Confusion brought about by False Evidence Appearing Real.
Lose these two steps backward, force to produce a life in forward motion.
What are you afraid of?
In this entire world you are the captive,
Trapped by only the words used,
“I’ll try, I Can’t, I Don’t Know, Maybe”
Destruction caused by powerless words!
But do you realize how truly free you can be?

Positive thinking... it is a virtual mantra of society nowadays, but few practice it. The talk of "positive energy" and "negativity" may sound like mystical nonsense, but it actually exists, if the individual wishes for it to exist. As far as the technical merits go, it is solid. Since I am not a master of poetry nor pretend to be one, I do not see anything amiss with the structure and rhythm. The length is a bit short... perhaps you could expand on the distance positive thinking can take someone, like giving images of walls crumbling or imposing mountains being as smooth as rolling hills... but overall it is good.

The length was the only real complaint I could come up with. If I tried hard enough I could come up with more, but 1. most complaints have already been covered and 2. I do not believe in digging for weaknesses to generate words for a comment. The message of freedom through positive thinking is true... most limits are held in place only by words, and if those negative words are ignored, the limits on potential usually crumble before a positive attitude and determination. Perhaps one day more people will come around to this thinking, but until then... good job and keep it up!

Yes, we all are as free as we believe we are.gain a powerful message. Even though this is free-style I think it could have been written a bit more musical sounding and with a bit more rhythm.

the power of three. Everything you send out will come back to you three times. Send positive energy and positive outcomes will come back times three all we have to do it believe it. Right. Good job. Thank you

"False Evidence Appearing Real" - very cool!
Fear can stop us in our tracks and cripple our ability to have a truly fulfilling life. It sounds like you are trying to get through to someone. I hope they are listening.
