"A friend who is with us only for our money is not a friend at all" - David Pekrul
Hey, this could become a famous saying! lol
Loved the poem, but the picture is bad. If you like, I could send you a link with some pictures of pretty, colourful Canadian money. lol
I am just now learning what a real friend is all about and I still have no clue. There are so many rules and p's and q's and do's and don'ts and just when you got it down, you know it, it changes but you are right when I have money in my pocket it seems to them I can do no wrong. Hmm
Unfortunately there is a deal of truth in this.
I have found over the years that one can trust people with ones life, but in most cases, not ones money.
As Anthony said, a true friend should be cherished.
In the third stanza I think you have missed the D off figured.
Brian
I don't have this Figured out. The title and poem seem unlinked. You do make one reference to money, but I don't see that "Money Talks." I do think that, many you believe are your friends, are only there for their interests and would leave for a chance at money. True friends are rare! Cherish any you may have and hope what they are doing is not just an act! Thanks, Anthony
