Listen carefully for what I am about to tell you will either move your soul or cripple your mind.
The dawning of the Crimson Moon is upon us
Can you hear it?
Way off in the distance?
The cry of a soul tormented by the shadows?
The Hour of Truth has passed
Will She come?
Will She make it in time to find him?
Can She find him among the shadows She knows all to well?
Time is running out
The sun is soon to rise
Damn it
Where is She?
Why has she not come?
He cries his fear and loneliness as the shadows tear him apart
Sequin fluid flowing free like rapid rivers of Rage from his demonic eyes
"Where are you?!"
He shouts into the sea of stars above him
A breeze blows
Filled with the scent of roses
Petals of the deepest reds flutter in rhythm with a melody that fills the silence
The first finger of daybreak gently caresses the skies
Drowning out the shadows of Denial
Can you hear Her song?
Watch carefully now
Watch the shadows retreat
Listen to their curses as she chases them from Him
Slowly she wraps her gentle arms about him
Her skin as smooth as the petals that fall about them
The song she sings soothing to his aching soul
She has come.
She has saved him.
Who is she?
She is the Demon's Saving Grace
Always on time to Save him from Damnation
She is Eternally his Rose
Forever reaching her petals around him
She is the Demon's Siren
Here to sing his troubles away
She is the Demon's love
Eternally his to soothe him of fear

Your excellent use of imagery has produced an outstanding piece of poetry. Great story told here through your superb words of wisdom. It caught my eye and kept me interested from the beginning to end. You can be assured that this is a good one to be added to a book. Great work and much enjoyed the read. Ernie.
Its a great poem. The imagery is wonderful. Only one error too, In your 10th line "Can She find him among the shadows She knows all to well? " It should be "Can She find him among the shadows She knows all too well?"
Thats all I can see but listen to Roger he is more expirenced with this than I am.
