Grandma's going to Heaven Lord, to be with Grandaddy B
So please Lord take good care of her like she did our family and me.
She always did her best for us and asked for nothing Lord.
Fat cheeks and happy, healthy smiles to her were just reward.
She gave up all for each of us who came to her with need.
She never held back for herself.. not once.. with selfish greed.
A great mansion in Heaven will be her home somewhere beyond the moon.
My prayer is for all to trust in the Lord that we will be there wih her too.

This is great. Almost all of my grandparents are gone sadly. Death seems to follow me. But this is really good. I love it great write keep it up!

My paternal grandmother lived in an age when most elderly were Victorian moral codist. My grandmother was anything but. A quiet free thinker who thought her grand daughter could do no wrong. Her statement was "my child would never do such a thing!" It was my motif all of my life. If I thought my grandmother would be disappointed in the act, the act never occurred. She was the angel in my life.
Unfortunately for me, I did not have the blessings of grandparents. My paternal grandparents I never knew and my maternal grandmother did not really care for me. After your first sentence, you have the letter, B. Is this the first letter of your grandmother's name? I think that if you take this poem and separate it into stanzas, it will look much better. Remember, presentation is a big part of the poetical process. The structure and form of your work will determine its fluidity. Welcome to PnP!
How incredibly sweet, I have great found memories of my grandmother too. Thank you for reminding me how precious a life is to our souls. I sure your grandmother would be proud.
