What Have I Done

Oh my creator what is it I have done
That requires the death of our son

Oh freedom sweet freedom lying on the ground
Whose blood is pouring down

Oh soul burning inside by breast what is the honor
Who is the test

Oh fire in the mountain where it all began
Lord could we please start again

Oh my creator what can I do
beside share my pain with you

Freedom oh freedom what have you done
you cost my creator his son

Mother of God kneeling on the ground
I feel your pain I as I watch your tears fall down

Father tell me true how could this happen
If you knew

I have nothing to give you you own it all
as the valley cries and my tears they fall

From my breast you rip my heart and soul
Take all you have given for I am already cold

Oh my creator what is it I have done
That requires the death of our son

High on a mountain looking down
Prince of evil makes not a sound

Death of a love one is very hard to cope with, it can tears us apart and make us wish that it was us instead. You ask why. Why not me? What did I ever do to you to make you take my son? I see it as everything happens for a reason. Even if it's not fair.
