OK, I see, I was wrong again
And now I know I am guilty of my sin

So yes I must confess
I didn't pass the test

Do you think that I should feel better
To know that I murdered my own brother?

Well no I don't feel good
I wish I understood

But here is another sin that I need to atone for

Dear Heavenly Father,
I'm sorry to bother
But I need you now
I really do
Can you lift me up
and hug me to?

I didn't mean to call you names
I know you are not the one to blame

And now I am starting to see
Exactly what you mean to me

Everyday that passes by
I become as a child
that always asks why

Thank you for your patience and understanding
and for not being so demanding

You never tell me no
and you always let me go

Sometimes I wish you wouldn't be so gentle
I need some Fatherly guidance
to keep me from worldly violence
but I really appreciate this mortal experience
and everything that is in this human existence

Even though it gets me down sometimes
I always find the reason to my rhymes

You gave me a gift for words beyond compare
to help your children become aware

I know these words are not my own
They are yours, but to me you loan

And now I must ask you yet again
Please forgive me of my sin

Forget what I have done
I didn't want to kill your son

I also know a secret
but I don't really want to keep it

I will make them all remember
And then they will all surrender

You didn't let them kill your son
I really know you were the one

You took the cross
and paid the cost

You were on the cross that day
And you're the one in whose name I pray

So in Jesus name
In God's name
Those two names
They're both the same

But no, I still don't feel better
as I sit and write this letter

Because, now I know

I am the daughter
that murdered her own father

How did I miss this one? I am proud of you... the you that always prevails beyond these times of trial and tribulation. I know you love the Lord and your heart will always turn towards Him in the end. Have faith.
Love, Mom

Sheesh! I am truly overwhelmed. You do have a wonderful gift. I hope you use it forever. It can and does so much good for others, including me.
I am still seeking or maybe wandering in the desert?????????????????????????????? I dunno'?

I Love you,

Rich

Absolutely magnificent, Regina! It is a bit long, but you manage to keep the flow and the imagery just continues to expand in my mind. You have a special way to tell your story and I hope this always stays with you. Like David said, I think you know the way to Christ and his father, our father, one in the same! Great job!

Your Roger
