~Dear God...~

I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am for leaving.
Because of my actions, mistrust, and shelfishness I am now left grieving.

I never understood you to begin with, nor did I even try!
My life ended up empty, searching for something other that was a lie.

But I found the door and I peeked inside.
And what I've found I can no longer hide!

I see the beauty, love, the strength, things I want to hold!
But the fighting inside me leaves me running hot, and cold!

Sometimes I can feel you but most times I'm alone.
Am I left without emotions and as cold as a stone?

I'm learning my lesson and I'm sorry I left.
Accuse the Devil for another "miss-hap" theft!

Please show me what you really want me to do!
I'm searching so hard to find Jesus and you!

The frustration grows stonger day after day.
Why can't I understand you and see your way?

People tell me it hurts, and just to go with the flow.
But the demons I fight, no one will ever know.

Why can't I just let go in the house of God?
I'm left with this question feeling strange and very odd!

Dear God, please just show me your way!
I'll give you my best, this is all I can honestly say!

I think everyone feels this way one time or another and you have a great way of letting others know they are not alone, I think the flow keeps getting interrupted in this poem. I am not exactly sure why I am no expert or even pretend to be I can just tell but I would leave it that way it makes people slow down and really read what you have to say. I think you did a wonderful job, and it is very well expressed, Great write, thank you

There will come a time in your life when you will realize that the road you are on is a developing relationship and take time. Just keep hoping and have faith that you path will be lite with the light of love. God loves you.

It's a beautiful start, most often anything profound comes from the heart, so I assume that so to does this. just remember for God to show you the way, you have to be open to directions (wink!)

If this prayer is truly from your heart, God will not turn a deaf ear. I believe He will always meet us half-way. You have reached out and He will reach out too. God bless you.

Its hard to have mixed thoughts and ask for answers. You may try to attach the wrong question to the right answer. Maybe you should visit a different alter, where the question and questioned can have a fair chance. Remember the answers aren't always what we expect. I love you and am only an e-mail away if the need ever arises! Good luck with your walk and I hope your on the right path! Your asking the right one!
