The day I got drunk,
I thought me a thunk,
And said, "What a wise man, I am".
My 'wisdom' I shared,
Though nobody cared,
A Drunk with a vision is damned.
The visions I had,
Were really quite sad,
(I thought they were really quite wise).
The truth was quite plain,
They thought me insane,
I drank to my own demise.
The boys came in white,
I put up a fight,
I'd been to that place once before.
To Bellevue I went,
And time there I spent,
Inside of a locked iron door.
I sit in a cell,
And all is going well,
Three meals every day and a bath.
My 'wisdom' I share,
Though nobody cares,
I walk down my own garden path.
