  Say Hello to the Day

Good morning again today, my friend
I have talked to you every morning for a while, without fail
And, Although, you make not a sound I hear your encouraging praise
You have helped me get through yet another twenty four hours
But because of you another beautiful day does not go unnoticed
You remind me of the good things that pass me every hour
That helps me through the painful memories of the horrid things I used to pass
And, Although, they still cross my path just as much as they did before
Because of you I dwell upon them never more

Thank you for my daily chats with thee
And for listening to all the things I need to say
But nobody wants to hear but me!

I also agree with Roger.

Great closing lines.
What greater love has one human for another than..................?

This is a beautiful thank you. The last line "But nobody wants to hear but me." Not so, we all want to hear you!

I agree with Roger; this sounds like a sincere prayer of thanks.
I wrote a similar poem some time ago called, "It's Just Me Lord".
