( This is a candid reply to a poem called, "Roy Loved The Ladies", by David Pekrul )
I say that Roy he was cool,
but today he'd be considered a fool.
He slept around most every night.
Did many things that weren't quite right.
He brought the scissors that cut Sampson's hair.
He seduced Cleopatra in her own lair!
He made Helen of Troy a notch in his belt
and did not care how Solomon felt.
He sewed his seed and left his mark.
Went in and out by cloak of dark.
He may have been Delilah's friend,
but his actions would be his end.
Today if this was done by Roy.
There would be trouble for the boy.
Running around without wrapping his tool,
he'd die an AIDS infected fool!

This is absolutely magnificent! I thoroughly enjoyed this one, Anthony! You know I do not like rhyming (I'm not good at it), but I do read them. Most of the times, I notice that rhyming obstructs the fluidity of a poem, because the author is more concern with the rhyme than with the content. But I most say that you have done a marvelous job with these rhymes and have maintain the fluidity. I also think that the message is an extremely important one here! You have painted a great picture! For that, I must give you a five!
Well I am the Queen, and I do say, if Roy is the man that David claims, Then I don't think he would die of aids. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Come on Anthony For Shame. lol. he he. nana, nana
But still very good write, indeed, Get them riled Anthony like only you can do. Yeah for Anthony. lol
Thank you
Doth thou declare war against young Roy?
Me thinks thou wish to do battle, maybe it is a battle Royal? (wink)
OK enough, I just couldn't help myself.
This is terribly cute, thanks for making me giggle, Amanda
