~How dare you!~

by Jeniffer Brand (Age: 43)
copyright 10-13-2005

Age Rating: 10 +

Who are you to invade my thoughts and even my dreams?
Who are you to try to control my emotions along with my screams?

You mean nothing to me, never have and never will!
You mean nothing to me, so go away and just be still!

How dare you try to take what I'm trying to achieve!
How dare you try to influence me in who I should believe!

Who are you to tell me the path I'm now on is not right?
Who are you to tell me to let it go, give up, and not to fight?

You mean nothing to me, so leave me and stop your trying!
You mean nothing to me, so stop talking and stop your lying!

How dare you try to miss-guide me from Jesus and God!
How dare you try to invade my soul, you devil, you fraud!

Go away now you demons, go to hell and to jail!
Go away now you demons, my soul is not up for sale!

That I can imagine!I mean that was a bit scary.
and I heard this voice in my head hollering out
all this excitment.that poem,I just totally felt
the excitement.that's cool.

Obviously feeling-expressive, you make your point clear to the world. Everyone needs to believe in something, be it one god or another, and I applaud your strength of character.
Bravo.

I don't even know how to comment on this...You have said it all so clearly and succinctly. This is the proud anthem of one person's bravery in fearlessly standing up for themselves against all comers...Impressive!

So it is a gold statement. Tested everyday by life and struggle. Verse in view.. Walt

The torment seams so strong here.:( I feel like something has sprung a leak and the writer's eyes have opened to some kind of deception. I hope you are better and you know I'm only an e-mail away if the need ever arises, Anthony
