Stardust embedded in my hair
Blue lights, red and yellow ocher mists
Evaporating senses in abysmal glow
Temporary blindness in the sky
All travel is suspended now
Cosmic rays are pushing forward
Supernovas burst in whitest glow
Expansion reaching endless heights
A prick hole gave it all away
From the moment that the words were said to be
Words vehement and so true
“Let there be light!” and it was done
Pixie dust encased in violet crystal hues
Radiation beaming from its core
Birthstones cradled in the cat’s stare
Lonesome travelers perceived in dreamer's void
Overwhelmed I sit upon Orion
Dangling from my line a hook
Perhaps I’ll cast myself a comet
Encrusted in a golden tail of space!
