The winter nights
They are so cold
But the words that he speaks
Followed by his tepid breath
Warms my soul
The sad nights
Tears run down my face
But his arms
Wrapped around me
Full with embrace
Make me smile
The enraged nights
Where I kick and scream
He holds me back
From the terrible things I could do
and
I become calm
The happy nights
So dark that you can barley see
But with fireflies filling the sky
It's enough light to see his face
Leaning forward
I get my first kiss
Every night
I realize
That I will never be the same
Because he is
Truly
Wonderful
