Hallways and Classrooms: The Terrors of High School
by Kelsey Furnell (Age: 18)
copyright 11-11-2005

Age Rating: 13 to 127

"God, she's such a freak."
"Did she get dressed with her eyes closed today?"
"Keep away from me."
"So why should I go out with you, again?"
"And he told you what??"
"I got an A in class today, he said."
"Yeah, who gives a damn?"
"Just shut your pie hole, idiot, and leave."
Keeping her head down -
She doesn't want to look them in the eye.
Feet are tripping up,
Her clothes were out of style a year ago.
Should she really care?
Should someone really care she doesn't date?
"Class, please settle down."
"My God, I hate this class," somebody says.
"Now, kids, let's not swear."
His glasses slipping farther down his nose,
"Time to start the class."
They take their seats, all staring at the girl.
Pulls out her notebook,
She takes her notes throughout the boring class.
"God, I hate my life."

I'll bet if they really got to know that girl, they would find her to be sweet, intelligent, funny, honest and sincere, friendly, loyal and wise; all the things that make a girl really beautiful.
