Special Song

All alone, eyes closed, singing your heart out.
Fingertips brushing against your right cheek.
Slowly tilting your head left to right.
The lyrics getting you teary eyed.
Relating to the words.
The slow piano touching your soul.
Amy Lee's voice filling your heart.
Hours being wasted, but you assume it's only been a minute.
Your fingertips find themselves sliding against the nearest surface.
You feel as beautiful as the song.
You want everyone to feel this way.
This is how I feel when I listen to Evanescence.

Absolutely beautiful! You have created a wonderful, peaceful and melodic poem. The imagery is extremely vivid. It flows very nicely. You have exceeded your previous work by far! I have read your work before and nothing compares to this one. The writing muse has tapped your shoulder and you paid attention! Beautiful poetry, Caitlin!
