Tiddily Dee, Tiddily Dum,
Mercy me, what have I done?
I played around, for it was fun,
But now I know that it was dumb.
I love the ladies, it is true,
Was always finding one that’s new,
But soon I bid them all adieu,
That is, of course, ‘till I met you.
You are an angel from above,
I want to give you all my love,
You are my perfect little dove,
We fit each other like a glove.
Don’t tell me that it’s just a fad,
I know the ladies that I’ve had,
For some were good and some were bad,
And some would drive me really mad.
But you are such a special girl,
You send my heart into a whirl,
I’m just an oyster; you’re the pearl,
I’d love to ‘make your flag unfurl’.
Oh, please don’t think that I’m a chump,
A guy that you would like to dump,
For I’m the log and you’re the stump,
And we’re a pair, but you’re the trump.
I know this sounds a little dumb,
But it’s a new man I’ve become,
That wants us two, to be as one,
Tiddily Dee, Tiddily Dum.
