Edge
by Leigh G.
copyright 11-21-2005

Age Rating: 7 to 127

Edge
The Edge of the World
The Edge of Fate
The Edge of Heart
The Edge of Soul
The Edge of Life
The Edge of Death
The Edge of all we know and love
The Edge hastily approaches
To consume us all so we sink into Oblivion
After the Edge is unknown
Oblivion?
Nothingness?
Hell?
Heaven?
Something entirely different?
The answers shall remain unknown to us today
Today We don't know
But what about tomorrow?
Will you reach out?
Will you reach past the Edge?
And see what's past it?
It's up to you
What lies after the Edge...
Might tell you all the secrets
Or
It could kill you
Both are possible
The risks are there
Is it wroth it in your eyes?
To see what lies after the Edge?
It's up to you
Find out what's after the Edge
Or
Just live in the world you have
Chose
Today
Now
It's all up to you
To go to...
The Edge

Brrr! Icy words explain an unexplainable concept!
A job well done, too. I solemnly applaud this poem. Leigh, you really know everything that people don't know! What a phenomenal series of poems!
