  Core Values

This poem is for a friend of mine who asked me what I think of when the Core Values of the Air Force are mentioned. For My Friend, here is a poem about the core values in haiku style just for you.

Integrity First

Doing what is right
Staying honest with others
Truthful with your words

Service Before Self

Fight before you run
Finish before going home
Doing extra tasks

Excellence In All You Do

Going extra lengths
Being the best you can be
Always successful

These presentations accurately reflect the Core Values of the Air Force, as I recall, when I was there, some years ago. I'm pleased that they have remained that way. And, also, of course, that the totality of your writing, here, reflects that about every person which allows them to rise above being petty, primitive (as in selfish) individuals.

An excellent offering. ^^
