This Special Place In My Heart
by Ernest Lozon (Age: 54)
copyright 12-06-2005

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Spring surrounded by a cool breeze of love.
Peace and serenity are in place from above,
bringing forth Mother Nature's cycle of life,
as creatures begin to mate without a strife.

Flowers bloom releasing their sweet fragrance.
Birds chirping melodies, songs are in cadence.
Trees spread out branches filling up the sky,
shadowing this land with the blink of an eye.

Beauty continues to grow through each season.
Colors become elegant, stating their reason.
Birth process completes as life is born anew.
Creatures sprout everywhere forming a big zoo.

Butterflies leave cocoons with pure grace.
Baby birds learn to fly, keep up the pace.
Squirrels rustle about gathering up food.
Leaves bright colors put fall in the mood.

Winter strides in with a calm and peaceful stance,
spreading white beauty across the land of chance.
Mother Nature remains steady, never to fall apart.
Valley of Heaven, this special place in my heart.

This brought back memories from my childhood. I loved to walk through the woods, and because we lived on the edge of the forest, I spent most of my time there.
Thanks for the memories.
