Birds in the air began to flutter
Sky up above filled with clutter
Wind started to speak making a loud sound
Yelling at trees while moving them around
Grey clouds were forming, tightening up
Squeezing out the rain like a crying pup
Down it came into the Earth's dark crust
Filling dry cracks and dampening the dust
Streaks of light moved across the dark sky
Crashing to the ground in a blinding eye
Then came noise that shook Earth
Deafening blast for all it's worth
Helpless, defenseless we sat through the night
Listening to anger while trembling with fright
Until finally yelling and noises began to slow
Temper died down and happiness seemed to grow
Wind started to whisper barely making a noise
And trees calmed down regaining their poise
Clouds disappeared revealing beauty of the sun
And birds came from hiding chirping, having fun
