Someone I used to be
by Paul Kangas (Age: 18)
copyright 04-24-2006

Age Rating: 7 to 127

I'm broken...
No one can help me
Get up
Like anyone would even
Care
Would they even dare
To help the insane boy
Who's me..
Can't you see?
I can't breathe...

Why'd you have to go
Why'd you have to go
You left me here
In the grass, screaming,
Bleeding, drowning
Fading away
Stuck in the shadow
Of someone I used to be

Can't you see
I loved you, I did, so truly
But you rejected me
And threw me away
Like I didn't matter at all
Now I'm only
One in a crowd
Out of a million
Like anyone would

Why'd you have to go
Why'd you have to go
You left me here
In the grass, screaming,
Bleeding, drowning
Fading away
Stuck in the shadow
Of someone I used to be

I'm stuck in a hole
That's so unescapable
I'm trapped behind a
Door and the key has
Been destroyed
I'm locked inside
Forever and ever

Why'd you have to go
Why'd you have to go
You left me here
In the grass, screaming,
Bleeding, drowning
Fading away
Stuck in the shadow
Of someone I used to be

Welcome back! And a very sad song to go with it lol
I like this and well done. Not many people can write a good sad song, while putting your heart into it.

This is really sad and depressing...Good job though it has a good flow and rithym... (how do you spell it? lol) But yeah great job.
