I'm searching for something but, I don't know what
I need something but, I don't know what
I need to find something but, I don't know what
I'm incomplete with out it
I feel so empty...
Abandoned from my friends
They all got "tired" of me
I may be younger
But still
I do feel pain
And I'm not your average pre-teen
I can't find it
I wish for it
I wish to have it
But somethings missing...
I've always wanted it
Every else has it also
Could what I be searching for be...
Love?

Looking at Roger Crique's comment, I have to
say: that is so not a secret! Every kid knows that! But back on topic. It seems you're searching for love, but it might not be something so... unfortunate. I've always though that love gets a person in deep despair, because if you ask me, that's what normally happens. I think you just might be searching of approval and respect. Although love seems more likely... what a deep poem. Every good poem has layers and layers of meaning, and is shrouded with mystery. I think this poem holds all of that! Very nice indeed!
It could be love, Leigh! But I'll tell you something, it could be that you are different, meaning that you are unique and some people reject that. I find that this poem is a perfect example of what pre-teens and even teenagers go through. I'll let you in on a little secret that most adults don't want you to know! Lots of adults cannot find what it is that they need either! Eventually, you will find what you're looking for, whether is love, friendship or just mere fun. I like this poem, your style is very fiery and unique to you. Great poem!
I wrote this poem so long ago, that I hardly can discover the hand writing on my original copy! But this was one of the darker poems, I wrote last year.
