Like a roaring flame, my heart is burning
to nothingness, for I am yearning
to get away from the pain and hardships of life
before REALITY cuts me up like a knife

So many stories that I hear
People living in a world of fear...
Will the world truly ever be
living in peaceful harmony?

Is life supposed to be this way?
When I turn on the TV every day
I see people hurt and dying
and on the inside I am crying

I sometimes dream about a magical place
where no one is judged by the color of their face
A world where people work together
and live in peace and love forever

I open my eyes and BAM!--reality
brings me back to the real world in front of me
Life sucks me in and spits me out
And, again, leaves me with nothing but sadness and doubt

Like a roaring flame, my heart is burning
to nothingness, for I am yearning
to get away from the pain and hardships of life
And, now, reality cuts me up like a knife

I think the place you are talking about is Heaven. I believe this life is so that you can really appreciate the next life. Don't give up because this life helps God to know how to place you in the next! Your works are getting better, listen to your heart for it seems to be a very nice one! Anthony
