We snuggled together my darling
by the warmth of the fire.
I knew then as I know now
you're my every desire.
We watched as burning embers
glowed so red and hot.
I closed my eyes, I touched your thighs.
thankful for this time we've got.
Your eyes twinkled with passion,
of a love that couldn't die.
There was no fear for us my dear,
so please now don't you cry.
We lived a life together,
and the journey through times so tough.
I loved you then, I love you now,
I could never get enough.
You are always in my thoughts,
We've created many memories.
All that we've done, you're still the one,
that brought me to my knees.
I'm so glad that I had asked you
for your hand to be joined with mine.
To be my wife and share my life
and forever to be entwined.
Now as the fire smolders
I'm held within your heart.
I love the thrill of knowing still.
That we will never part.
This year as we celebrate Christmas,
I want you to know my love.
I'll always be, right here with thee
thankful to God above.
For sending me an angel,
to fill my every desire.
To be the man who holds your hand,
and sits with you at this fire!
Merry Christmas, Darling!
