Please bear with me a little while,
And let me share with you,
Some pictures of a mountain-range,
Of which I have a view.




They sit a bit outside of town,
A simple drive away,
In less than 90 minutes,
I can be there where they lay.


They’re called the Rocky Mountains,
If you see them, you’ll know why,
Their beauty is so rugged,
And they’re really, really high.




So if you have vacation time,
Then why not head up north,
For once you’ve seen the Rockies,
You’ll be coming back henceforth.

I've always wanted to go to the Rockie Mountains...the only problem is that I did. I went when I was like four and don't remember it at all. All I remember is sitting on a rock on top of a high mountain after a long hike and race to get to the top of a mountian with my family. I was thinking about how it would be like to roll down the mountain like a little rock, going in circles and circles and circles and even more circles. (I had had some experience with this myself on the big grassy hill at home.) I wish I could go back, especially after reading this.
