The Little Boy In Me
by David Pekrul
copyright 12-21-2005

Age Rating: 10 to 127

I speak my mind, but no one hears,
My deep confusion or my fears,
But there is one who sees my tears,
The little boy in me.

When I was young, I had a friend,
He wasn't real; was just pretend,
But he was one who would defend,
The little boy in me.

And then when I went off to school,
I tried to act like I was cool,
But I could never really fool,
The little boy in me.

Now here I am, just growing old,
And though I've seen my life unfold,
There's one who helps me keep a hold,
The little boy in me.

This is cute. We all have a little boy or girl inside us even if were to shy to admit it.
Good Job!

A very touching glimpse of what we all have within us, even those who have forgotten.
Ask any woman, they will all know about the Peter Pan in their man.

Good story.
G00d poetry.
I especially liked the last line.

What's not to like about this one?

Good work,

Rich
