Without You
by David Pekrul
copyright 12-29-2005

Age Rating: 10 to 127

I spend my lonely days in search of love,
A search that always brings me to your door,
For you were once my angel from above,
The one that I once worshipped and adored.
Whatever was I thinking when I left?,
Without your love I really cannot live,
Now I am all alone and quite bereft,
I'll come home on my knees if you'll forgive.
I need your precious love to make me whole,
Without it I am only half a man,
I need you in my heart and in my soul,
Please take me back, forgive me if you can.
Then we will never, ever be apart,
And every day will be a brand new start.

oh dear i hope she forgave you! your prose is good...seems to flow here....i hope things worked out okay for you - either way! why do so many men do this? they let us go and then they want us back. why can't you just stay put from the beginning?????

Ah, the begging of a lonely man! I am going through the same thing. But she doesn't want me back. :) I see you're experimenting with prose. It is peculiar not to see your work in stanzas, not that you have to! I think you express your sorrows well here and I hope, perhaps she will forgive you and take you back!
