To behold her face, attend her eye's gaze
Is to perceive one tenfold more than fair
Of whom it's said ‘tis beauty beyond compare
She catches the breath and stirs the mind ablaze
Since last forever it has been my endeavor
To posses this fair maiden of dreams
Yet this wrench and tear at my poor heart’s seams
For all this be folly, in fact I can have her never
To never be able to pass one way, and yet not dare another
Presents my soul with an ever continuing vex
And yet this dilemma need not my bound heart smother
Nor unsettle my spirit with sickening direful effects
For one need never possess his heart’s eyes gleam
It's also delightful to imagine, fancy, and doubtless to dream
