FATE IS COLD...my sailor-moon song/poem

  FATE IS COLD...my sailor-moon song/poem

Even in this darkness I would stand my ground
Temptation can't slow me down. Broken dreams,
unbending loss can't pull me down. I'd move on.
Against this evil I will fight. No, I won't stop till I am
with you again. I am not afraid of wounds that suffer.
I can't be single in a world so dark.

I am sure I could say that fate is cold
cause without your touch I am so alone.

Through it all I have followed you
in these hells I have seen it all.
I have felt fear, the wasted taste
of love in pain. I held on as
you pushed me away. Now I wish, wish
I could have stayed.

I am sure I could say that fate is cold
cause without your touch I am so alone.
Yeah, without your love I am so alone.
Without you I don't exist at all.

This was put beautifully! The images that you describe could be applied to either her one true love Mamoru/Prince Endymion or her own Senshi.

I did have a slight problem with the double use of down so quickly, but it still made sense.

This would make an excellent song.

When I first started watching Sailor Moon on TV so long ago, Usagi did not exactly strike me as the one to save the world. But when the chips were down she had what it took to save the day, and I suppose that is all that really counts in the end. As for the poem itself, I am pleased with its quality. One thing in its favor is that the theme matches the implied feelings Usagi had for Darien, and the picture at the top also helps set the tone. The mechanics are good and have no problems that I can see. Perhaps the greatest asset of this poem is that if it were set to music, it would have the quality of a song that once it is heard, it will be hard to forget... I have not seen many poems of this type, and this one is quite good.

However you thought this up, wherever you got the idea from... if you do more works of this nature, make them as good as this one! I trust in your capabilities as a writer, and I believe you will not let me down!

I believe your poem reflects well Neo-Queen Serenity's feelings for King Endymion. Her love for him is so strong that I truly believe that she would not be able to exist without him. I also believe that she would be lost without her guardians or Senshi by her side, not because she is weak, but because her heart is so big and her loved ones help keep her strong. Keep up the good work.
