My Dearest Love,

Whose eyes are the sun and the moon,
Whose ears have the ability to listen to my heart,
Whose nose is as finely shaped as Mona Lisa's smile,
Whose tongue does taste like wine upon my own,
And upon whose lips live sensuousness and tenderness,

When I see you coming
Far off in the distance.
I feel grateful to live
In the same world
With such a woman.

When you come,
I always remember
Our first kiss.
It brought tears to my eyes.

When I hear you coming close,
Your footsteps softly falling,
My hands begin to tingle.
Even the wind seems to know,
As it blows your hair in my direction.
The way you walk, the summer breeze,
The sand and ocean air,
The purple sunset,
Oh, what a poetic moment!

When you quietly sit down
on the sand beside me,
An extravagant scent of roses,
Damascena, and jasmine
Provokes but gently,
My awakening sense of smell.

And then, when I take your hand
In mine, the touch that means
So much to me, I know the answer
To all my hopes and longings.
And I know you hold the key
To my heart. What a difference
You have made in my life.
Through you I have uncovered
The beauty of all things.

When you touch my face,
I'm infused by
A feeling of warmth,
As though you have touched
some wellspring within me.

And when you briefly
Look into my eyes while
Slowly closing them,
And I feel your lips
So gently touching mine,
It's like basking in
The radiance of the sun.
As we utter the tender
Sentiments of love,
It fills me with
A momentary dizziness.

Even when you leave,
I'm never sad
Because the sweet look
In your eyes, tells me
That we will love forever.

Yours Eternally,

Richard

This is a great poem, very romantic with great imagery. Well done, I'm really impressed!

P.S I would have given you some praise points but I'm very low on points due to being away from this site for nearly 2 years!
