Angels among us
by Daniel R Patton (Age: 43)
copyright 04-11-2006

Age Rating: 4 to 127

Angels fly high, angels fly low,
Bringing us messages to and fro,

With such beauty and bright glow,
O' how they must light up as they come and go.

Standing beside us day and night,
Protecting over us making sure we're alright,

Ever so softly whispering in ear,
Letting us know we've nothing to fear,

And always ready to wipe away a tear.
So if you stop and listen to that little whisper

Deep within, you will hear it say
"Shh . . . all is well this day."

O' yes by the way,
let us ask for them when we pray,
And the Lord will send them on their way.

What a beautiful image you have painted with your poem. I must also say that I liked how you wrote an religious poem without making it too preachy. Not that I have anything against Religious poems, cus hey I am religious. I just think they can be too prechy and well you did a beautiful job of writing one that wasn't. You know what I mean. Anyways, I enjoyed this very much.

Tabby.

Ten thousand angels were with him that day, Love is beautiful, See it's glory and fear it's power, yes they are there, but unless we command they cannot help us, nothing can over ride free will. Ask and we shall receive. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you, alleluia. Oh no, my imagination is getting away, you did it, my friend, Great write, good job, thanks,

Regina
