Unheard Pleas
by Chelsea Armstrong (Age: 22)
copyright 01-31-2006

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Ages have passed since she had spoken a word
The sorrow in her eyes telling far more than any word could
Shattered and broken
She silently begs for Mercy
To be free of the haunting memory of Him

He haunts her dreams
He taunts her days

"Come to me..."
Is all she ever hears from him
Though she can not find her way back

She is lost without words
Lost without thought
He consumes her every waking moment

Time marks all things, age is the gift to expand, your voice asks, a word left unanswered, perfection does not come in completion,it comes from the journey, I still wait for your thought
to be completed... Walt

Hey, this is a cool poem! Great start! I've gotta read it when you finish. I think it's powerful, and I'd DEFINATELY read it again when you finish. But who is this "Him"?

Good Job!

Hi Chels,
Waiting for you to continue as are all your other fans. Maybe your too busy thinking of him. If you are so consumed by him, how will you ever be yourself?

I'm curious, too. Now don't let us down!

As already said, this could be the beginning of an interesting story.
One small query.
Did you mean shattered and broken?
Brian

My nails are already to the quick. The anticipation will get me, but I am thrilled at what is already here! Anthony

OOh! - Good Start!
Don't stop now, just let it come. There is a good story here; just let your mind wander and don't think too heavily about it, and I know the words will come rushing forth.

This is a very good start to what seems to be an exciting read. Why the 16 age-appropriateness? Just wondering!
