Paula's Column
Chapter 8

Age Rating: 1 to 127

Wow.....
I haven't updated in forever!!!
I ended up suffering from writing-withdrawal-syndrome ( I think I made that one up....). Symptoms of this disease include : Chants of 'Must write! Must write!',
Uncontrollable twitching when getting near a pencil or pen (getting through school was such a pain), and crying whenever seeing a book (ditto).
I haven't forgotten you guys, though(audible sighs of relief)!
I'm suffering almost-teenage-a-phobia (made that one up, too), a stupid disease where I act like a teenager, even though I am not one yet.
I just suffered through midterms (remember my other entry?).
Here are my results:
Math -- 99 (YOO-HOO! I got the highest grade in 2 classes! Ha ha ha!) One point away! One point away!!!!!!!!!!
English -- 92 -- lots of sadness involved. The teacher messed up grading one of the portions, so I deserved a 95, but no comment. Except the one I just posted. :)
Social Studies -- 87. I was so disappointed, I couldn't bring myself to be happy. But w/e. Most of the points were off my essay, because I wrote in pencil instead of pen. The other 8 were multiple choice....I dunno where the other points went, dun ask me.
Science -- no results yet! Can someone please e-mail me this week and remind me to post them? We get them back tmrw.
Spanish -- no comment. I passed, lol, actually, I wayyyy more than passed, but I still dun wanna post it.
Anyone, so much has happened. Nothing of great importance, really.
I mean, it depends on how you look at importance.
I've devoured like 300 books since my last update, Britney has had a baby, Brangelina has turned like 4 months old, American Idol has started, I'm doing really well in school (knock on wood), and I'm still the shortest, most flat-chested girl in 7th grade.
*sigh*
Some things never change.....
OOH! Wait! Something has changed!
I've fallen in love!
Well, I'm not sure if it's love, after all I've read these days about crushes, but if love is wanting to tell the person you love that you do love them, and it's having your heart swell when you're in their presence, and having your spirits soar when you guys are doing something together, and thinking of him last thing before bed....
Yea, it's love.
Ew, that sounds mushy.
But that's what it's like.
I will, of course. give juicy info.
Minus the name.
Anyway, he IS a nerd, he is NOT the kind of boy girls my age look for, he IS a genius, he DOES love the library, he IS small for his age, he DOES get good grades, he IS normal, he IS wonderful, and I DO love him.

JOIN COMMENTING CLUB!!!!!
Meg Cabot rocks!
So does Ellen Schreiber, and Caroline B. Cooney, and Stephen King, I'm over R.L.Stine, and young adult fiction EATS historical fiction.

I love American Idol, I love my family, and I love the world.
Peace out, my homies, update u l8r.
And just a little advice -- When a Stranger Calls, hang up, *68, block, get caller id -- even I know that, and I'm 12(going on 13!!!).
