Hello my friend how have you been. Hope all is well with you and yours its good to hear from you again. I've been away for a little while I have some catching up to do so I thought I'd start with one of my favorite poets so I thought I'd start with I'm glad I did, I wasn't dissappointed but although I like what you had to say I can't say I agree with what your trying to say to me. I feel when we write on lifeless stone our feelings in our life the lifeless that it once was becomes, a part of our life and even becomes full of life, because of the memories it will envoke when called upon to speak. Huh. Anyway. Great write, good job, thanks
How can any one put into words how much another life is worth. I don't even know how much my own is worth, but then I don't think in terms of its value I only feel the moment.
I always enjoy the subtle ways you manage to get profound messages across. A subtlety some folks miss I suspect.
The proof of life is left on the one's that have been touched by that life. The words on the stone are something to honor that life. I really like your write and whether or not I am remembered by others than my family is not a concern of mine. If they do they do and if they don't then thats their misfortune. I will remember my friends and hope they remember me, but all we can do is live life to the fullest and hope that God remembers! Anthony
I would hope that our legacy would be more than just what is written on our tombstone, otherwise our life has really been a waste of time.
This is a rather sad poem, but one that causes us to think and reflect.
"The flaneur just drifts though life,
He's raised his kids and left his wife,
And after aimless wandering,
His life is etched on stone."
