Once upon a happier time
by Eric Carrillo (Age: 28)
copyright 03-18-2006

Age Rating: 13 to 127

Once upon a happier time we planned our futures.
Weddings, receptions, guests and type of home we wanted.
Once upon a happier time, we talked about perfect futures.
Traveling together, going on cruises and your father walking you down the aisle.
Once upon a happier time, we danced and went to dances, we talked in person, and on the phone about our futures together.
The sun was shining, the cool breeze was blowing and there was magic in the air.
Once upon a happier time, your father lived and you told me about your fears and doubts.
Wanting marriage but afraid it was coming too soon. Wanting to be with me, but doubting your feelings.
Once upon a happier time, we talked of long courtships.
Going out to eat, watching movies and seeing other people to see how true our love for each other was.
Once upon a happier time, we broke up, then decided to stay together.
The night was cold, but, there was magic in the air.
Once upon a happier time, we hoped for marriage and your father walking you down the aisle. Now he’s gone, he won't be walking you down the aisle and your doubts are still there. My undying hopes are that with time your doubts will be swept away
and we may plan our future once more.

Aww.. sad poem. You use the word "futures" a lot... but other than that... it was moving.

That was really sad, but deffinetely got the message that was trying to be sent that was very good it has a lot of emotions in it. Good job!
