Water Poems
by Sarah Mahler
copyright 03-07-2006

Age Rating: 4 to 127

Aquamarine-joy, that is the waves
Playing in innocence
Dancing in a smooth flowing motion
Beckoning you to join the dance
The ocean pulls you in
As the waves crash overhead
Bringing you under
You dance on carrying the heartfelt glee
Of the ocean and it's liveliness.

Drowned World of Mine
How I love your blue depths
Where I sink into my sorrows
Crying my heart out like it was yesterday
Mad as a sane person in an insane world
I sank into this drowned place
Knowing that it would be tough
Never knowing how to make it
Out of this world of mine.
Drowned World of Mine.

The ocean is an awesome place, and your poem is full of great metaphors. Very nice to read; well done.
