I am (part one)
by D.j. Feutz (Age: 18)
copyright 04-21-2006

Age Rating: 10 to 127

I am the one who no one notices
I am the one who sits in his room alone
I am the one who sits in the dark
I am the one who is ashamed to go out side
I am the one who is scared of his dad mentally and physically
I am the one who isn't afraid to die
I am the one who is afraid for all the people he would hurt
I am the one who's friends feel sorry for him
I am the only one that has been single for his whole life
I am the lonely one who feels lost
I am... me

I wrote this when i was 13 i am now 15

This once again is such a sad poem. Now that I read it I can relate to it very mcuh, except for the father part. Everytihng esle is what I live my life as.

When I read the first 3 lines, I thought you were writing about me when I was a young teen. I often felt unnoticed, and I spent plenty of time alone in my room, sometimes in the dark. It always helped me emotionally to write a poem about my sadness. Some great works start that way. Keep writing, I love reading your work.
