They Think They're So Smart

People think they're so smart
And really they aren't
There's such a thing called "common sense"

Diets aren't healthy
Most not even safe
And why in the world do I have to look this way?

I don't see the reason
For people to care
About what everyone else thinks...

People judge for no reason
No reason at all,
Except for the way people look

This is why we have 'cliques'
And 'unpopular groups'
When really no one person
Is any better than the rest

And so, here I am thinking here
Wondering why everyone thinks they're so smart

Everyone has their own theory on how one is supposed to live. But because no one is perfect, this method is wrong as well. We can't be totally upset at the world, because we too play some part in it's corrupt ways. The best we can do is hope to change ourselves to adapt. Not let comments get in our way, and try to change for ourselves and not for anyone else, or what anyone else says.

I like this poem as well. lol!

True. I have been picked on all of my life over some dumb reason. I absolutely agree with you. I often wondered, "Why can't people just see the beauty in each other? Why look on the outside? Why miss the beauty?" I can really relate.
