Our friendship will stay
by Hind H.
copyright 10-05-2001

Age Rating: 18 to 127

It was a mistake to fall for you
It was a mistake to even think of you

You're a friend and that is all
Never i should think that for me you could fall

All i wanted was a friend that's true
But my foolish heart thought you can be a lover too

Saying how i felt in a moment of weakness
Wanting to share with you all my hapiness and sadness

But i was rejected
My heart by you was neglected

A feeling like this I can not bare
Even though i know, to find a man like you is rare

So please forgive this foolish heart
An let our frienship not fall a part

Sometimes it is a lottery when revealing true feelings, we never know what the outcome will be.
In this case if the friend was really a true friend then all will be well.
A nice little poem that speaks of a familiar subject.
