Friends are more than golden
Even when they part
But it's as if the best ones
Leave footprints in your heart

Good friends are hard to find
They're very, very rare
So just try to be one
And there's sure to be one there

This is a cute little poem. I like it. I especially like the line about footprints in your heart. I think it's a nice metaphor. Kinda catchy too. I like it. Teehee! The poem's sweet, to the point, and true, and I think that's why I like it so much.
Great job!

-Haley of the CC

p.s. You might want to try making it a little longer, though. =]

You are a really good writer. I can relate to this. I have a friend but they do something and you hate them for the rest of life. I think to be a true best friend, they have to be honest yet mellow and you have to know them for over two years to know every thing about them. They always seem to lie in a way that you found out 3 years after knowing them. Got to go.

Yeah...your poem speaks the truth. Good rhythm, nice job. "Friends; the only cement that will ever hold the world together." Woodrow Wilson said that. Again, nice job.
