My Little Song
by David Pekrul
copyright 04-15-2006

Age Rating: 7 to 127

I often sing a little song,
To make me feel like I belong,
If you would like to sing along,
Then sing along with me.

And if you cannot sing in key,
Well, that is quite alright with me,
This song will make your heart run free,
So sing along with me.

It's just a very simple song,
So very short and not so long,
But it will keep you feeling strong,
So sing along with me.

"I am alright, I am okay,
I love my life, and this I pray,
That every day is like today,
For I am feeling free."

And now I'm done, my song is sung,
And I am back where I've begun,
My life is good and I have won,
I'm glad that I am me.

Wow, this is absolutley beautiful, just beautiful - and sorry, but I can't think of anything else to say about it lol, it's that good, it just leaves one in a happy and strong feeling state, and that's the most anyone can hope for when we're not in an up-beat mood. Great job!

Hat's off and hand's down,
It lit my face with a smile,
while wiping away the frown,

I think I'll teach this to my
little girl. THANKS

This is light hearted and happy, in a way I would call it a praise. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing this piece.
God bless,
Tigran

Reminds me of a song we used to sing as children (Sing, sing a song, make it simple, to last your whole life long, don't worry if it's not good enough, for anyone else to hear, just sing... sing a song, la la la la la la, la la la la la la, la la la la la la laaaaaaaa) LOL. Ok, I'll stop. But this was simple and nice and something my kids will definitely like to read. (I'll show them when they come down for dinner.) :-) Thanks for sharing it.
