If her self could be measured
To any degree
I would measure it in quietude

When you looked about to find her
Here and there
You could not find her anywhere

When you strained an ear
To hear her
For years you'd wait to hear a bark

Yet somehow when you'd take a step
She would take one with you
In simple loving loyal quietude

Rich
