As the world goes by
Up in my mind
I try to find
The words to signify

I try to find the words I want
All floating in my head
They won't come out
Without a doubt
They're stuck for good I dread

Writer's block is what it's called
I can't believe it's true
I can't find the words I want
To tell a tale to you

But wait look here
I've done it
I've told a story to you
On just the spur of the moment
You can do it too.
